Just weeks away from the largest election in Mexico’s history, three presidential candidates are in the race to succeed popular President López Obrador. They are Claudia Sheinbaum, Xóchitl Gálvez and Jorge Alvarez Máynez. What are their proposals?

Mexico Edition. Just weeks away from the largest election in Mexico’s history, three presidential candidates are in the race to succeed popular President López Obrador. They are Claudia Sheinbaum, Xóchitl Gálvez and Jorge Alvarez Máynez. What are their proposals? How much traction are their promises getting? Top representatives from the three campaigns are invited to discuss their platforms. In other news, there is unrest among Mexicans in the United States after news that Mexico’s INE notified almost 40,000 Mexicans that there were irregularities in their voter registration and they would not be able to participate in the June 2 elections. The councilmember in charge responds to the testimony of a journalist colleague who was excluded.
