The Farm Bill 2024. The Farm Bill, the largest federal legislation for food and farming, is moving through Congress. The $1.5 trillion bill includes comprehensive risk management tools for farmers and ranchers, loan guarantees for agricultural loans, rural development projects, nutrition support and investments in conservation. In this program, farmers and analysts look into provisions to protect farm workers from climate change, and support beginning and socially disadvantaged farmers with training, loans and insurance.
