New Rule to Protect Workers from Extreme Heat Outdoors and Indoors

We made a rule to give H-2A workers more power on the job and more security.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics, part of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), reports that ‘479 workers in the United States died from exposure to environmental heat between 2011 and 2022, an average of 40 deaths per year during that period,’ which is happening today amid a more severe and potentially deadly climate crisis.
