Los Texmaniacs Sound.

The leader of the band Los Texmaniacs, Max Baca, joins a conversation with renowned cultural advocates Daniel Sheehy and Russell Rodríguez in one more edition of the series Sounds of California. The Texmaniacs is a Grammy-winning conjunto group from South Texas. In this program, they explore the impact of the accordion music from the Rio Grande Valley on California and other areas of the US. This program was recorded at the 2016 Smithsonian Folklife Festival at Washington’s National Mall.
