“El Chisme 2024” Seeks to Boost Latino Vote in Key States

“To inspire our people, mobilize them, so they go not only to vote, but also to organize”

To motivate Latino voters, a civic organization is touring more than 20 cities across the country in states considered “battleground states” that will determine who will become president this November. The tour, with its “El Chisme 2024” campaign, is aiming to keep its message and Latino activism going beyond November. Jorge Gutiérrez shares details about the project in a conversation with Chelis López on our national program, Línea Abierta. And Rubén Tapia prepared this summary for us. You can listen to the complete program in the archives of Línea Abierta for Wednesday, August 21 at radiobilinge.org, in the news section.
