PROGRAM # 9574 12:00 PM PT
Latinos and Alzheimer’s.
Latinos are expected to experience the steepest increase in Alzheimer’s in the next 40 years. Still, they have poor access to high quality care, are underrepresented in Alzheimer’s and dementia research and clinical trials, and are often misinformed about dementia. And since Latinos have been hit hard by Covid-19 infection, hospitalization and death, how is impacting their memory and cognition? This is a conversation with a leading researcher on Latinos and Alzheimer/dementia.
Guest: Yarissa Reyes, National Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Engagement, Alzheimer’s Association, Metro Jacksonville, FL
