Kids with Diabetes: In Crisis?

Researchers found that a majority of adults in California, and even worse, one third of young adults, have pre-diabetes or diabetes, in a strong indication that the epidemic is out of control. Many people do not get tested because of lack of insurance. In this program, analysts identify the areas that are the state epicenter of the diabetes epidemic, and give recommendations to governments, communities and families on how to help stem the epidemic as well as encourage families to access newly-available public health insurance for immigrant kids.
