Covid-19 cases among children rose in recent months during the surge of the Omicron variant. An expert warns that more kids will get sick from Covid as infections surge. The State of Vaccines and Tests in Rural California. A top public health expert shares the findings of a recent survey among residents of California’s San Joaquin Valley to explore their experience with Covid testing and vaccination. The Orale! campaign team found that the more crowded the household was, the more likely people exposed tested positive. More than 80% of surveyed people said they had received the Covid vaccine and explained why. Unvaccinated residents reported reasons why they haven’t received the shot and what would make them to get one.
