Rural Families Hit by Covid After Kids Go Back to School. Covid outbreaks in the school of a rural community created havoc among farm working families. In this report, we hear the story of a father and breadwinner of six who got sick and missed two weeks of work and income; a mother of three whose daughter tested positive after losing a sister to Covid and had to quit her job. Many in the community have stepped in to help.
