Immigration Edition.
The Congressional Hispanic Caucus is calling on ICE to release thousands of immigrant detainees who are at risk of coronavirus. A caucus representative also calls for the halting of ICE operations that sow fear in immigrant families, allow the virus to spread, and put the agents at risk. The legislator also gives details of a new bill titled Coronavirus Immigrant Families Protection Act. Also, DACA professionals who work on the frontlines of the COVID-19 crisis are urging the Supreme Court to delay its ruling on the program and USCIS to renew all DACA permits during the pandemic. And a California state senator calls on Gov.
