Coronavirus: Extra Edition.
Latino organizations are asking OSHA to provide emergency temporary standards for companies to protect employees against Covid-19, especially for essential meat and poultry workers. Latino workers are overrepresented in food-processing production jobs and are overly exposed to Covid-19. Advocates comment on recent coronavirus outbreaks in California’s Central Valley food plants.
