The historic leader of the farm worker and civil rights movement Dolores Huerta supports activists who come out to the streets to protest against systemic police brutality and white supremacism, hails this time of marches as extraordinary and calls for demonstrations via non-violence. Pointing to his personal experience with police abuse, she calls for policies that overhaul the police system and calls on society to “commit to eliminating racism starting from schools.”
