Mexican American activist and voting rights pioneer Willie Velasquez is featured on a documentary that premieres tonight on PBS, the national public TV network. The film “Willie Velasquez: Your Vote Is Your Voice” tells the story of the grassroots movement founded by Velasquez that spearheaded the registration of millions of Latino voters, changing the face of Texas and the nation. This is a conversation with the film maker.
