Veterans on Memorial Day; Grieving in Uvalde.
On Memorial Day, veteran advocates warn about an epidemic of suicides. Although more veterans die by suicide than in combat, few are asking for help. Also, the father whose US marine son died in Iraq talks about the meaning of this holiday for him and his efforts to end military recruitment in high schools. In another story, in the wake of the massacre of children in a school in Uvalde, guests talk about efforts to control guns, invest in public and mental health, and community intervention programs.
