Surge of Women of Color in Politics.

In November, Nevada may elect the first female-majority legislature in the history of the nation and Texas its first, and possibly second, Latina congresswoman. Progressive women of color who are running for office, elected officials and activists come together today in San Francisco to highlight those stories and help elect more women of color in the upcoming midterm election. Analysts also comment on recent tracking polls among Latino voters in the runup to the election.
