Resisting the War on Drugs.
Victims of human rights violations and social activists begin in Tegucigalpa a caravan through five countries, calling for a stop to the war on drugs and raising attention to the social costs of prohibition. The caravanists will travel through Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico and the US, stopping in areas highly impacted by militarization, organized crime, and massive incarceration. They plan to arrive to New York on time for a special session on drugs at the United Nations.
