The US House passed a broad police reform bill named after George Floyd. Proponents say this legislation will transform the culture of policing, address systemic racism, curb police brutality and bring accountability to police departments. Dead While in Custody. Tucson police chief offers to resign over the death of Carlos Ingram López while being arrested in April. A video shows Ingram handcuffed and placed face down by cops. Tucson’s leaders did not accept the resignation. The chief has been seen in the past joining protests of the Black Lives Matter movement. What do the family of the victim and the local leaders have to say?
