Colombia Peace Process.
Colombian authorities are charging multinational corporations with crimes against humanity for financing right-wing death squads. Among the accused banana companies are Dole, Del Monte and Chiquita. This unprecedented prosecution is part of the peace agreement between the FARC guerrillas and the government. Analysts also comment on the progress of the peace agreements reached between the government and the FARC and the new talks with guerrillas of the ELN, and Trump’s position towards Colombia’s peace effort.
