NAFTA Talks.

Today, the Trump team, Mexico and Canada begin the first round of talks to revise NAFTA. Trump, who called NAFTA “the single worst trade deal in history,” promised to pull out or negotiate a new trade agreement. An expert comments on what to expect under the new NAFTA talks. Also, a leader of a US remittance company discusses a bill in Congress to impose a 2 percent fee on all individual money transfers to Mexico, the rest of Latin America and the Caribbean to help pay for the proposed border wall. Also, a leading environmentalist shares concerns about the missing points in the current NAFTA plans: labor protections and environmental and climate change obligations.
