Elections Watch.
The battle in Texas between US Senate candidates Ted Cruz and Beto O’Rourke is in a dead heat, according to recent polls, and while Trump campaigns for Cruz, a country music legend endorses O’Rourke. Also, in neighboring New Mexico’s governor race, Democratic Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham and Republican Rep. Steve Pearce recently clashed on issues like Medicaid, minimum wage, and legalizing marijuana. And in Arizona, Democratic candidate David Garcia is in a virtual tie with incumbent Doug Ducey in the race for governor. These and other news are featured in this edition of “Hacia el Voto 2018.”
