Deaths in Baton Rouge, St. Paul and Dallas.

Two black men were fatally shot by police in Louisiana and Minnesota, setting off peaceful mass protests nationwide. Five police officers were killed by a sniper in Dallas, an incident linked to the earlier deaths. President Obama called police shootings a “serious problem” in the US. Analysts discuss the incidents in Baton Rouge, St. Paul and Dallas, racial bias in law enforcement, and proposed reforms to the criminal justice system to remedy police abuse, and live remarks on the mass shooting by President Obama during a memorial service in Dallas.
