Cassettes from Exile.

Thursday_673x324THURSDAY, DECEMBER 14
PROGRAM # 8221 12:00 PM PT

Cassettes from Exile.

This is a conversation with the producer of an award-winning and first-person audio story that was created with recorded letters that he found in audio cassettes that his fathers used to mail for years from exile to his family who stayed back in Chile. This is a story about the deep scars that the forced separation of families by political walls inflicts in the children. It is also a story about the emotional struggle to cope with reunion after so many changes in life.

Guest: Dennis Maxwell, Producer, San Francisco, CA.
