A Latino-majority congressional district in the California’s Central Valley is set for a major showdown. Democrat Emilio Huerta, a labor lawyer and son of iconic farmworker leader Dolores Huerta, is challenging Republican incumbent David Valadao in a conservative district with more than 70 percent Latino population. In this election edition, candidates discuss their views on critical issues for the Central Valley, including immigration reform, the water crisis, environmental contamination, and the economy.
