Despite reports suggesting the Latino vote may not exert clout in the outcome of the mid-term election, many expect Latinos to be a critical voting bloc in Colorado, North Carolina, Georgia and other battleground states in races for the Senate. Also, Latinos in the US Congress and state lower houses are set to increase to record numbers.
