Guatemala: 20 Years After The War.

After twenty years of the signing of the historic peace agreement that ended a 36-year civil war, Guatemala’s society continues divided. Some victims of the bloody war are struggling to find healing, forgive, and move on. Veteran journalist María Martin captured some of those stories in Santa Lucía Utatlán, a traditional village in the province of Sololá hard hit by the war.

Juan Villoro. In this brief conversation, Mexican writer and journalist Juan Villoro talks about Cervantes, his literary interests, the fight against corruption in Mexico, his new book on chronicles about Mexico City, and his work as part of the group that’s helping craft the first political constitution in Mexico City.
