PROGRAM #9034 12:00 PM PT
The Pence-Harris Debate.
As almost five million voters around the country have filled out their ballots for the presidential election and separated by a Plexiglass barrier to prefvent Covid spread, Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Kamala Harris face off in Salt Lake City, Utah, for their first and only debate. Democratic and Republican analysts provide commentary on this, a more civil but still often interrupted debate. They examine exchanges on the response to the Covid pandemic, the plans to get the economy to recover, Trump’s tax cuts, the surge of White supremacism, the plans for police reform, and the impact of the debate on women and immigrant voters.
Guests: Dr. Frances Colón, State Director, Florida for All Coalition, Former Adviser to the US Secretary of State under President Obama, Miami, FL; Rosario Marin, Former US Treasurer Under President George W. Bush, Orange, CA.
