Citizen demonstrations due to the rise in gasoline and diesel prices continue. The protesters are staging partial blockades to federal highways and petrochemical plants to prevent the sale of fuels. At the same time, hordes of looters incited by hooded individuals and unidentified organizations, cause destruction in shopping centers. President Peña claims he has no responsibility in the rise of prices, but experts explain that the increase means paying more taxes to the government.
