Mexico Edition.

School teachers from the states of Oaxaca, Michoacán, Guerrero and Chiapas, who oppose President Peña Nieto’s education reform, were removed from Mexico City. After hundreds of teachers were surrounded by city police and returned by bus to their states of origin, the marches and demonstrations by teachers intensifed in Mexico City, as well as in five states. In Chiapas, teachers were met by riot police. The protesters are calling for dialogue with the government, which has answered that the reform is not up for discussion. Martha Elena Ramírez hosts Voz Pública from Mexico City.
