Radio Bilingüe is celebrating 40 years of community radio service. Its first station went on the air in Fresno, CA in 1980 with the mission to give access to the airwaves to Latinos in the California’s Central Valley. It eventually became the first-ever public radio network that serves Latinos around the nation. This archival program is a repeat edition of a conversation originally aired in 2015, on occasion of Radio Bilingüe’s 35th anniversary.
