After Republicans blocked in the Senate a second bill that included voting protections against discrimination at the ballot box that have been struck down by the Supreme Court, activists from minority communities renewed pressure on Congress. Latinx leaders launch a voting rights campaign named “Queer the Vote.” In this interview, they talk about the voting rights bills, political representation and the Equality Act.
