Diluting the Latino Vote?

A group of Latino citizens are challenging Kern County accusing the local government of using a gerrymandered redistricting map to dilute the Latino vote and prevent them from gaining fair representation on the Board of Supervisors. For decades, Latinos have had a dismal representation in the county government. Analysts also comment on the feelings of Latino voters about key health policy issues to appear in the November ballot.
