Day of Racial Equity.
On the eve of the National Day of Racial Healing, a leader of philanthropy joins this Holiday edition to call for coordinated community activities to promote an end to racial divisions and take action for a more equitable society. She says: “It’s not enough to change laws and institutions; hearts and minds need to change, too.” This second day of action takes place in coincidence with Martin Luther King Jr Day. Also, a national leader of pediatricians shares advice on how to talk to kids about racism and racial bias.
