Cox vs. Valadao.
Línea Abierta extended an invitation to incumbent Representative David Valadao and challenger TJ Cox, who are running for a seat in Congress in California’s battleground district 21. The roundtable with voters was convened in Selma, in the heart of this agricultural area. Only Democrat TJ Cox showed up for the public conversation. Local residents shared concerns about access to education, health care, DACA and immigration reform, the impact on farmers of Trump’s trade war, and other issues. This program includes excerpts of the roundtable.
