Democratic National Convention: Day 4.

The convention culminates with former Vice President Joe Biden accepting the Democratic nomination for president. A Democratic strategist and delegate, and political analysts comment on the messages by Harris and Obama, the speeches by Hilda Solís on the working class and Michelle Luján-Grisham on the climate crisis, the prospects for the governor of California to designate a Latino or Latina US senator if Biden/Harris win the election, and the potential impact among voters of two news stories: the arrest of a former top Trump advisor and mastermind of Trump’s election under charges of swindling donors who have money for the border wall, and the revelations by a former DHS official accusing Trump of speaking about selling Puerto Rico for being so “dirty.”
