Electoral College Votes.
On this day, Electors meet to cast their ballot for President and Vice President of the US. Hillary Clinton won almost 3 million more votes than Donald Trump in the popular count, but lost the election because of the Electoral College system. Millions call on Electors to vote their conscience. Legal experts believe this system is flawed and illegal, because it goes against the constitutional principles of “equal protection” and “one man, one vote.” Political analysts comment on today’s developments.
