The U.S. and Mexico have signed a security cooperation agreement to fight drug trafficking, organized crime and money laundering. The controversial agreement called Merida Initiative or Plan Mexico is today the target of coordinated protests around the US from critics. They claim US funding is helping promote police corruption, impunity, and more violence. This edition includes a conversation with a Pomona city councilwoman who authored a successful resolution demanding an international, independent investigation into the Ayotzinapa case.
