Radio Bilingüe is hosting a public dialogue on a crisis few in U.S. major media talk about: gross human rights violations in Mexico. A group of artists and scientists meet in San Francisco to engage the local community in this conversation. On a related note, an activist Catholic priest from the embatled state of Michoacan tours the US in an effort to find support for towns ravaged by narco-violence terror and impunity. He talks about the self-defense movement, the atmosphere leading to local elections, and the federal plans for the region.
Guests: Hugo Morales, Executive Director, Radio Bilingüe, Fresno, CA; Father Gregorio López, “Father Goyo,” Vicar of the Catholic Diocese of Apatzingan, Mexico.
