A leader of the Yaqui Tribe in Northern Mexico talks about the fight of his indigenous people for the right to the waters of the Yaqui River, the stream that sustains life in their ancestral homelands, and his year-long imprisonment after challenging a state-sponsored aqueduct megaproject. Also, a community leader from Los Angeles discusses campaigns to prevent the use of toxic pesticides in low-income communities and to protect traditional corn from the threat of GMOs.
