In his new book Los Narcos Gringos, a veteran Mexican journalist delves into the dark network of brokers who manage the multi-billion dollar business of drug trafficking in the US. Based on court records and interviews with key informants, the investigative journalist reveals who are these US brokers, where they are, how they work, and how they are connected with the Mexican narco cartels.

“Kingdom of Shadows.” The US public TV network PBS is premiering the film “Kingdom of Shadows,” which is the product of an investigation into the devastating consequences and the human rights crisis of the US-Mexico drug war. For this documentary, the Emmy-nominated filmmaker followed a drug enforcement agent on the border, an activist nun in Monterrey, Mexico, and a former smuggler in Texas.
