Imprisoned community police leader Nestora Salgado may be freed soon in Mexico, along with other political prisoners, after the governor of Guerrero has agreed to intervene. This is the state pressing charges against Nestora. In the US, legislators and legal experts urge the State Department to push Mexico to get Nestora released and allow her to return to her family in Washington state.
