Pope Francis in Mexico.
In his first visit to Mexico, Pope Francis travels to San Cristóbal de las Casas, where he meets with indigenous communities, then Morelia, in the third anniversary of the self-defense movement, and Ciudad Juárez, where he is scheduled to pray for migrants and hold a Mass across the US/Mexican border. In large scale outdoor masses celebrated in Ecatepec and San Cristóbal de las Casas, the pontiff has addressed critical issues ravaging the country, including poverty, corruption, drug cartel violence, human trafficking and the exclusion of indigenous communities.
