Four months after the disappearance of 43 students in Guerrero, family members say there is no justice or truth being told. So they are bringing a report to the U.N. Committee Against Forced Disappearances in Geneva, Switzerland. While protesting again in Mexico City’s zocalo, they said they will challenge the next elections in the state and announced that they will launch an effort to creation of people’s governments. Amnesty International expressed that the government investigation into the Ayotzinapa case is unstable, because it is based on the testimony of alleged criminals and minimal scientific evidence. Martha Elena Ramirez hosts this edition from Mexico City.
Guests: Perseo Quiroz Rendón, Executive Director, Amnesty International, Mexico; Luis Videgaray Caso, Secretary of Mexico’s Revenue Service (taped sound); Jesús Murillo Karam, Attorney General of Mexico; Felipe de la Cruz, spokesman for the parents of the missing students.
