An exclusive interview with students who survived the gunfight attack by police officers in the city of Iguala, on September 26th. One of the student leaders narrates his life changing experiences from a poor farm worker to an active civic student leader. He says that in the Guerrero Mountains, where the lifestyle is an option between becoming a migrant worker or stay and harvest poppy flowers, every year activists from the school of Ayotzinapa will travel to rural areas and inform young people about the school for underprivileged students and the possibility of becoming rural teachers. Inside the classrooms the students learn about educational theories and outside they learn how to deal and manage with the government and school budgets. Between the boarding school, the taking of buses and the repression, the students grow up like vines intertwine with society. These students work towards building a democratic society. This edition is broadcast from Mexico City and hosted by Martha Elena Ramirez.

Guests: (Pre-recorded Audios) Omar Garcia, Member of Comité Ejecutivo Estudiantil; Jose, First Year Student of Normal Rural “Isidro Burgos”, Ayotzinapa, Guerrero, Mexico.
