Mexico Edition.

Mexican President López Obrador is sending a bill to Congress to overhaul Mexico’s electoral system, arguing that the influence of economic interests in politics must be curtailed. The constitutional reform would cut the number of members of Congress elected by party lists, reduce funding for political parties, lower the costs of elections and make it easier for Mexicans living abroad to vote. Analysts also comment on the latest round of talks between Presidents Biden and AMLO.
