This archival program features a conversation from 1996 with the then emerging political leader Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who later went on to become the mayor of Mexico City and the president of Mexico. In this interview with Voz Pública’s Paco Huerta, Lopez Obrador talks about the economic crisis, the ruling neoliberal policies, and answers a question from a listener about his aspirations to be the nation’s president.
