After the crisis provoked by Trump’s tariffs threats on Mexican imports, the Mexican Senate ratified and sent to the President the USMCA, the trade agreement that would substitute NAFTA. Mexico becomes the first country in ratifying the trade agreement with Canada and the US. How does the new agreement compare to the now old NAFTA? What protections are included in the USMCA against over exploitation of workers, environmental contamination nd degradation, and community development?
