The old dissatisfaction of the Mexican workers was heard once again this May 1st, May Day. In the streets and with megaphones, the bureaucrats protested the dismissal of 220 thousand government employees, while from the roof of a truck, the teachers of the Coordinadora association, rejected the imposition of an educational reform that resembles the one signed by former President Peña Nieto. For their part, the leaders of the old unions and those who call themselves independents, who were invited to lunch with President López Obrador, repeated slogans from a large stage. The electric workers of the dismantled company Luz y Fuerza del Centro, asked for their reinstatement, the capital police called for the creation of a union and many rejected hiring via outsourcing, which is allowed in Mexican labor law.
