To address the causes of migration, Mexico’s new president López Obrador wants tens of billions from the US to invest in a proposed “Marshall Plan.” The US pledged some money. Also, a farm worker leader explains his proposal to the new Mexican government to take measures to clean up from corruption the current Mexico-US system to contract guest workers to work in the US under the H2A program.
