Over 1,800 policemen and a metal fence guard the Senate amidst protests against the so-called energy reform. At the call of opposition leader López Obrador, who is hospitalized after a heart attack, more than 5,000 supporters came to berate lawmakers who want to change the Constitution without first consulting the nation on the oil debate.
