Mexico Edition.

Due to crimes against humanity, more than 100 organizations asked the International Criminal Court to initiate an investigation on Coahuila and make a statement on the violence in that state. For the past 9 years, there has been a number of incidents of bloodshed, such as the massacre of 300 civilians in the town of Allende, more than 100 people killed in the Piedras Negras prison and the disappearance of 562 people. These organizations hope that this court, specialized in prosecuting war crimes and those against the civilian population, will attract the petition because in all the cases denounced it was verified that high-level state officials acted in collusion with organized crime. Also in this edition, the case of Enrique Guerrero, a young activist and professional chess player, who has been imprisoned in a high-security jail for four years without a sentence. His case was included in the Report on Arbitrary Disappearances, Submitted by Amnesty International. Martha Elena Ramírez hosts this broadcast of the program: Voz Pública, from Mexico City.
